Michael Derrah has laboured 10 years in the film industry as a professional concept artist and storyboard illustrator. He has collaborated with some of the top directors in the industry, with hundreds of hours of shadowing and learning the craft intimately from the best. Now, in 2024, Michael will embark on his life-long career aspiration: to become a full fledged live action filmmaker. With multiple projects in development, Michael will release his first live-action short film in 2024, titled “Clenzer”, based off a short animated concept created in 2009. The film with be scripted by up-and-coming super talent Ben Milligan. Ben has screenwritten 3 films previously, and will be collaborating with Michael on “Clenzer”. A taught short-film, rife with rich visuals, that harken back to Ridley and Tony Scott, De Palma and a sprinkle of Lynch.
